Sophie graduated with a DEC in Animal Health from Collège Lionel-Groulx in 2009. With over 10 years of experience in her role as Head Technician, Sophie has also been certified by ENTSA since 2009.
She has always had a strong interest in training future generations of technicians. Each year, she has the pleasure of welcoming students for their final internship, taking great care to guide them throughout their learning process. Sophie finds the interaction with clients particularly rewarding, as she is a valuable resource for her colleagues and a key person in sharing her knowledge within the team.
At home, Sophie shares her life with Simone, a 2-year-old Chinese Crested dog, Ace Ventura, a 14-year-old mixed-breed Sphynx, and Scarlette, a 6-year-old calico Sphynx. She also takes pride in being responsible for the training of interns and new employees, contributing to the growth of her team and the continuous improvement of the care provided.
Sophie has also played a role in the reform of the program for future students, and her expertise is a true source of inspiration within the clinic.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys various hobbies, including camping, where she finds moments of relaxation in nature. She is also an avid fan of television series, sewing, and gastronomy.
